Walking

Walking is the easiest and most accessible form of exercise. It is good for your bones and muscles, but can also relieve stress and improve your mood.We run a variety of walks to suit everybody’s need. 

Our lunchtime walks from The Hub are a chance to take some time out in the middle of the day, enjoy the local environment, meet like-minded people and stay fit and healthy. All of these walks are guided, free of charge, and we vary the routes every week. 

Brisk pace, to fit in with a working day. 1-2 miles. On traffic-free paths but comfortable shoes are best.

Every Tuesday 12.30 pm—1.0 pm . No need to book.

Our Midweek Meander  from The Hub is a chance to enjoy the local environment, improve your mood, meet like-minded people and stay fit and healthy. All of these walks are guided, free of charge, and we vary the routes every week. 

Gentle pace, to suit all participants. 2—3 miles. Sociable group. On traffic-free paths but comfortable shoes are best.

Every Wednesday 10.30 am—11.30 am. No need to book.

It’s best to turn up to our walks a few minutes early and say hi.

The Hub has partnered up with Stockton Borough Council and Stepping Out In Stockton to provide a series of weekly guided group walks from different starting points around the borough. These are ideal for making friends in your local neighbourhood and improving fitness at the same time.
