This Sunday we’re running one of our Easy Riders Guided Rides on a weekend for all of the family to attend. Starting at 11am (meet at 10:45) at The Hub, the ride will be heading up the scenic River Tees and back again, you may even spot some Seals at the Tees Barrage! The route is all on cycle paths with no hills or technical parts so it is perfect for children and families, those new to cycling, just returned after an extended time off or those who just like to take it easy.
As usual bikes and helmets will be free to loan for the duration of the ride, though could we ask that if you are hoping to loan a child’s bike or attach a tag along to your own, that you let us know in advance as we won’t have time to ready it on the day.
The ride will be fully marshalled, so any accidents or mechanicals can be dealt with promptly. There won’t be scope for a cafe stop alongside the river as most places are closed on the Sunday. However, there will be opportunity to stop, rest and eat a snack if needed though, so families needn’t be daunted by doing the full ride without a rest.
Hope to see you there!
