This Sunday we have an old Hub favourite guided ride, the Airport Flyer. Starting from the Hub, heading along Eaglescliffe to the turn-off for Aislaby, then along the quiet and rolling road of Aislaby until you exit at Middleton-One-Row (MOR). We’re afraid that there won’t be a cafe stop at the Devonport Hotel in MOR as advertised in the brochure. The Cafe is closed over the weekend, so make sure you bring a drink and a bite to eat on the ride. We’ll then head back through to Stockton Town Centre via; Middleton Saint George, Long Newtown & Elton.
Set off time is 10:30am so please arrive a bit before. Bikes and helmets will be free to loan, though please arrive around 10:20am if you are wanting to loan one. Ride is rated as Grade 3 so is a bit further and more challenging than either of the previous Easy Rider or Pedal On Guided Rides. Probably most suitable for people who have some recent “miles in their legs” or experienced cyclists looking to blow away the cobwebs from the winter. Plenty of quiet road use and some steep but very short banks.
Due to finish around 1:30pm
Hope to see you there!
