The Stockton Duathlon on Sunday 26th April will be part of a national tryout weekend for du/triathlons. Named GO TRI 1000, the campaign aims to encourage 1,000 new du/triathletes across the nation. The Stockton Duathlon Novice race (2k run, 10k cycle & 1k run) will be part of this campaign so if you’ve been finding your fitness improving from walking, cycling or running then why not give it a go and be one of the 1,000 who challenge themselves that weekend. Cost is £21, you can enter online here and the event is held on closed roads (cycling) and on traffic free tarmac tracks around the river Tees (running).
Once finished and re-fuelled you can spectate the Sprint and Standard Distance races that have entrance into the World and European Age Group Championships up for grabs.
