Welcome to the Hub in Stockton

Based in Stockton, the Hub is the UK’s first active travel and cycle parking centre. We offer free information and advice on all aspects of cycling and walking, with regular guided rides and walks, and training courses on cycle maintenance and on road cycling.  Also, our cycling parking facility is completely free with no hourly limits, just make sure you pick it up the same day you drop it off!

Stockton Cycling Festival

This weekend is the Stockton Cycling Festival in Stockton Town Centre and around the River Tees. Friday night there is Elite Crit racing (small track sharp corners often on challenging terrain) going around the town centre.
Amateurs at 18:30


Pros are at 19:45


Then Saturday there are the Sportives (long-distance non-competitive cycling events) ranging from 36 miles and flat to 108 miles and INCREDIBLY hilly. More info here


Finally, on Sunday is the Family Festival Day, RideStockton a family friendly closed road ride, a street Velodrome & also some more professional and amateur racing.





From the hub we’ll be taking over some of our children’s bikes for the young ones to try out. So why not bring some of the kids down and give us a visit by the river at the Princess Diana Bridge. Running from 09:00.
